Born in Hong Kong to a Chinese mother and a Belgian father, Magali’s journey as an artist has been one of movement, exploration, and reinvention. After spending her formative years between Hong Kong and Belgium, she relocated to New York, where she has spent the past seven years honing her craft and expanding her artistic practice. Initially working in digital media, 3D modeling, CGI, and music, Magali’s creative path has evolved towards tactile, material-based installations centered around salt—a medium she has been deeply engaged with for the past eight months.
