Ian Myers

Ian Meyers is a New York-based artist whose work explores the intersection of tradition, materiality, and abstraction. Originally from Albany, Ian moved to New York City for undergraduate studies at Cooper Union, where he has remained deeply rooted ever since. With a practice grounded in egg tempera—a medium synonymous with early Renaissance and medieval painting—Ian reimagines the centuries-old technique through a contemporary lens, creating abstract works that feel both timeless and innovative.
